Consider adding a footrest or an ottoman for added comfort.
A Light Source
Unless you’re using an e-reader, you’ll need good lighting. Whether it’s a simple table lamp, a stylish stand-up lamp, or even battery-powered candles, proper lighting enhances your reading experience. Sometimes, when reading classics, I use candlelight to replicate how people read in the book’s era. Your reading environment plays a significant role in your experience, so set the mood with the right lighting. Healthy snacks like nuts, dried fruits, or dark chocolate can keep you energized without being too distracting. A mini-fridge stocked with your favorite beverages can also be a great addition.
